Making a Plan
Bitesize videoMost people assume estate planning is about gifts and trusts and lasting powers of attorney.
And it is. But that is not where we start.
Before any structure is put in place, we take a proper look at everything. The family. The assets. Who is going to get what, and when. What each person actually needs. What the client is genuinely prepared to do, and what they are not.
Only then do we start building a plan.
Not an off the shelf one. A bespoke one, built around the real picture of that family’s finances and relationships, using the full range of strategies available, gifting, trusts, tax allowances and reliefs, wherever they are the right fit.
And before anyone is asked to make a decision, every option is laid out clearly. What we recommend and why. What the risks are. What it will cost. What the disadvantages are.
Because good planning does not ask people to sign up to something they do not fully understand.
It asks them to make an informed choice, with everything on the table.
That is the Deep Dive approach.
